Shell Naturelle S4 Stern Tube Fluid is an Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant (EAL) according to the definitions of the US EPA 2013 Vessel General Permit (VGP)

Vraag: Ik heb een oliegesmeerde schroefas in mijn schip. Ik dacht dat ik Shell Naturelle S4 Stern Tube olie had staan en heb dat in m'n smeerolievaatje gedaan. Toe ik het 20 liter vaatje wegzette zag ik dat het om de Naturelle Gear olie ging. Verkeerd dus. De Gear is meer voor tandwielen zag ik, Heb er niet mee gevaren en de kraan stond dicht. Antwoord: Dat hangt er een beetje vanaf welke Naturelle Gear olie u gebruikt heeft. er bestaan meerder viscositeiten. Als u de 100 heeft gebruikt is het niet zo bezwaarlijk. Heeft u een andere viscositeit gebruikt dan zou ik hem wel verversen.
